This one goes on my "doesn't feel right to rate" shelf. If I were to rate this memoir, which chronicles Gay's sexual assault and subsequent weight gain, it would almost feel like I would be rating her experience or her body in some way.
Writing-wise, however, I wish that this memoir was condensed substantially. I found the last half to be very repetitive (a rhetorical device, I think, but not one that made things more poignant for me).
